I am so glad you're here
Hi, I am Anouschka. I am a wife, a mom, a blogger, and Jesus is my Lord and Savior.
We have lived abroad for five years and moved nine times, always seeking to follow God's call.
Our journey has taken us to the United States, Germany, the Middle East, and the Gulf. Our hearts beat especially for the region where there is often unrest and where Jesus still wants to touch many hearts.
My husband is from the US, I am from Germany, and our children are growing up bilingual. I find peace in the beauty of the desert, and my passion and creative outlet is baking and writing. I am currently studying at a Bible seminary, simply desiring to know God more deeply and understand His Word and His heart for us.
I am truly grateful that you are here, and I pray that this page will bring you encouragement and strength.
This blog grew from a place of pain and hurt.
Yet I felt God urging me to create it, even though I did not feel worthy and did not know where to begin. I kept wondering how I could minister to or encourage others from a place of brokenness.
The answer is that I cannot.
But He can.
I am on a journey. A journey of healing, transformation, and hope because of what Christ did for me on the cross. I am not the one who produces fruit. He is the one. I simply want to be a vessel in His hands.
God says in Isaiah 43:19,
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth. Shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
This verse carries such deep hope. It reflects the heart and purpose behind this blog.
My hope and prayer is that you will be encouraged and strengthened by this page. Here you will find reflections for busy moms, insights on growing in our identity in Christ, and practical guidance on overcoming fears and worries. And maybe along the way, you will begin to notice how God is gently leading you in your everyday life as you slow down, listen, and follow Him step by step.
You will also find simple faith resources for everyday family life. There are printable Bible verses, prayers, and small faith tools that you can use together with your children as you grow in faith as a family.
Let us create homes together that are filled with the warmth of joy and the ever present love of Jesus.
Love and blessings,
Anouschka
